The Quake Frame is designed for earthquake zones, especially high rise or densly populated buildings. In the event of an earthquake the picture frame will naturally tilt to one side due to the tremors. We designed an intelligent switch, which senses the vibrations, and once swung from its upright position, will activate a bright light along its underside. The Frame is most effective in corridors where it acts like emergency lights on an aeroplane, guiding the casualties to there nearest exit. To turn the light off, simply use the spirit level, which will deactivate the light once level.
